Health Dimensions is a unique, Michigan-based compounding pharmacy. We have been exclusively compounding medications for 23 years and provide services on a patient-specific basis, in accordance with USP (United States Pharmacopeia) quality standards and government regulatory requirements.

Since 2006, we have been PCAB accredited for both sterile and general services, placing us amongst an elite group of pharmacies whose procedures and quality systems are third party reviewed for robust application of USP compounding standards.

Collaboration with physicians and patients to define optimal prescription regimes has been the hallmark of our practice. Our passion is to provide service excellence, accuracy, and rapid response to patient needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION – ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Have you been looking for the ultimate administrative role where you can do what you love while also doing something that makes a difference in the lives of others? We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in various departments as needed.  
 
 
Administrative Assistant responsibilities include:
  • Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing office tasks.
  • Composes, types, and distributes professional correspondence and memorandum.
  • Assist in coordinating trade show and other event participation as required.
  • Assists with development of sales incentive contests including but not limited to developing materials and announcements, obtaining, and reporting results, and purchasing and distributing prizes.
  • Orders and maintains supplies for the sales and marketing department.
  • Assist in the Development and coordination of marketing and promotional materials and programs including but not limited to print, electronic media, trade show, direct mail, and signage.
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview processes, employee orientation and performance reviews.
  • Input invoices and reconcile supplement commission.
  • Generate reports for sales team.
  • Assist in purchasing and inventory management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Candidates who are best qualified for the position will possess the following criteria:

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent, one to three years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized. Must have excellent time management skills.
  • Must be proficient with advanced MS Excel, Word (including mail-merge), online calendar, online resources, etc.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
  • Strong problem solver and analytical thinker

JOB DESCRIPTION FRONT COUNTER/SHIPPING REPRESENTATIVE

Our pharmacy seeks a new energetic team member to perform all aspects of patient care at our front counter.

  • Greet and process customer transactions in a timely fashion.
  • Distribute prescriptions and answer general patient questions/concerns.
  • Resolve customer complaints.

  • Maintain cleanliness of front counter, register area, lobby, shipping area, and storage area.

JOB DESCRIPTION: PHARMACY TECHNICIAN – PATIENT CARE SERVICES DEPARTMENT 

Health Dimensions is a different type of pharmacy where custom prescription care is designed around the needs of each and every patient. We work day shifts and no evenings, holidays or weekends. This is a practice environment where team members are empowered to fulfill our company mission to “take care of patients, make them well and deliver exceptional customer service experiences”. Our patient care services team seeks a new team member who is a clear communicator and enjoys coordinating care for the needs of physicians and patients. 

A day in the HDRX Patient Care Services Department may include: 

  • Answering phone calls and handling customer issues
  • Contacting physicians to verify prescription information
  • Contacting patients for payment/filling issues
  • Consulting with patients of non-clinical issues with regards to prescriptions
  • Refilling prescriptions
  • New prescription order entry
  • Triage printers and double checks
  • Front register and shipping back up (when necessary)

JOB DESCRIPTION – SALES REPRESENTATIVE: METRO DETROIT AREA 

HD is looking for a full-time sales employee with a robust work ethic and a willingness to learn. Candidates must have good presentation skills and be able to build long-term relationships through honest, ethical behavior consistent with HD’s values. 

Sales Representative responsibilities include: 

  • Achieving sales growth in territory as defined by management objectives  
  • Enhance and build upon key customers to maximize selling opportunity 
  • Develop and execute territory business plans, aligned with corporate strategic goals 
  • Develop and execute weekly call plans 
  • Maintain and expand current accounts 
  • Identify and capture new accounts through successful introduction to Health Dimension’s products and services 
  • Work diligently to ensure all customer service tasks are completed in a timely manner 
  • Keep management updated frequently on all updates and progress with sales activities 
  • Participation in company prescribed sales training and implementation of methods prescribed by management 
  • Other duties as assigned

Candidates who are best qualified for the position will possess the following criteria: 

  • Recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Science  
  • At least 1 year of prior successful experience in sales 
  • Ability to travel up to 95% of the time in the Metro Detroit area
